On June 23, 2010, please join a select group of employers and stakeholders at the first of three Massachusetts Clean Energy Industry Economic & Workforce Development Leadership Summits.  The June 23rd Summit at UMass Lowell will bring together 80 selected clean energy employers and other selected stakeholders from the northeastern region of the state.  Future summits in New Bedford and Springfield will involve employers and stakeholders in the Central, Western and Southeastern regions of the state.

At each summit, the invited clean energy industry employers will be joined by selected representatives from local government, trade unions, and the state's education and training community.

The purpose of these summits is to generate recommendations that will allow Massachusetts to strengthen its position as a national leader in the clean energy industry and meet its workforce development needs. 

The summits are sponsored by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, the New England Clean Energy Council, the University of Massachusetts Lowell and the University of Massachusetts Boston.
